The Invitation
The Engagement
Morven Park
"We were immediately taken with the beauty of the property when we came for our visit. It fit perfectly the aesthetic we wanted for our wedding, especially when the fall colors come in. But the two things that made Zion sit head and shoulders above the other venues we considered were the ability to have most of the wedding party stay on property for the whole weekend and the all-inclusive planning aspect of Zion."
The Rehearsal
"The grounds and buildings themselves perfectly fit what we wanted for our wedding, the rustic farm-style in mid-autumn. We had amazing views for the ceremony and pictures and the spaces were perfect for all the other events."
Wedding Attire
Bride: Vow'd
Groom: Men's Wearhouse
Bridesmaids and Groomsmen: David's Bridal | Men's Wearhouse
"The planning process was extremely helpful and went far more smoothly than either of us thought wedding planning would be. Laura and the team made it so easy and let us focus on the fun parts of choosing exactly how we wanted the weekend to go. The spreadsheet made organizing our thoughts easy and communication was always straightforward."
The Ceremony
Processional Music: La Vie en Rose
"The staff was great. We knew exactly what was going to happen and when it needed to happen. We had some specific requests in terms of how we wanted to order photography and various parts of the ceremony and they made sure everything was on time and in order."
The Reception
First Dance: "Book of Love" by Peter Gabriel
Dinner: Short Rib, Mediterranean Chicken | Donuts
The Cake: Chocolate Cake with French Vanilla Frosting
"The short rib entree, the chicken bites appetizer, and the late-night pizza bar were all big hits."
"We can't recommend Zion enough. We'd never want to plan a wedding without Laura and the team to help us through it. If you want your wedding to be a weekend-long celebration of your relationship with your loved ones, you'd be hard pressed to find a better option."
What advice would you give to other wedding couples?
"Ask questions at every meeting. Ask what other couples have done before, we got some great ideas from hearing the team talk about different fun ideas previous weddings have had. Focus on the things that will matter the most to you while you're there, music, decorations, food, activities, whatever and run with that. Bring them your ideas and they'll usually find a way to make them work."
