6 Best Barn Wedding Venues in Loudoun County for 2025

By Terry Meadows

With countless wedding venues available, a barn wedding might be the perfect setting you’ve been searching for. Virginia's lush rolling hills and verdant fields make Loudoun County an ideal location for an elegant rustic wedding.

Since 2010, Zion Springs has hosted weddings in this beautiful region, and as an all-inclusive venue with a stunning barn, we’ve curated our top picks for barn venues in Loudoun County.

Although these venues aren’t fully all-inclusive, they offer beautiful settings and quality services. To help you decide, we've provided a comparison chart with key services and starting prices for each venue.

1.   Shadow Creek Wedding Venue

Rolling hills and horses grazing in the pastures surround the large barn, which is a bright and airy space featuring an elevated exposed beam ceiling and many windows. It has a covered patio attached to the barn. This venue appeals to couples looking for simple elegance.  Be aware that pets are not allowed.

2.  48 Fields Farm

This cider house venue hosts barn weddings in a relaxed and authentic environment. Couples get ready in the Victorian farmhouse and move to the dual-level barn with bright natural light and rich woodwork. You can choose lower levels, or an elevator makes easy access to the upper level. If you have your heart set on your own wedding planner, bear in mind you are required to use their wedding coordinator at the venue.

3. Kalero Vineyard

This farm and vineyard has breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The 1830s historic barn, with its stone and log structure, has gone under extensive restoration to become a gorgeous venue for a rustic-themed wedding.  This venue is ideal for couples looking for an authentic rustic wedding.

4. The Oak Barn at Loyalty

Loyalty is a working farm with cows roaming the pastures and farm machinery adding to the authentic atmosphere of this Amish-built oak barn. Couples share the romance with gorgeous views of the Shenandoah Mountains. An illuminated patio is an ideal area to dance the night away.  If you are looking for an authentic pastoral setting, this venue has what you need.

5.  Harvest Barn at Stone Tower Winery

Stone Tower Winery offers two options in its dual-level barn, with the lower level of the barn lending itself to an indoor/outdoor celebration. The barn is light and airy, with views of the gorgeous vineyards. With its fields of vines and ponds, it offers beautiful settings for photographs. Bear in mind that there are multiple events as the venue is a winery too.  Make sure their rental hours work with your schedule.

6.  Riverside on the Potomac

As its name suggests, the river wraps around this venue giving it an advantage of stunning water views and Sugar Loaf Mountain. The stone and timber barn is the largest restored barn in Loudoun County. Clear plexiglass strips in the barn give the illusion of the original air spaces for ventilation while maintaining temperature control inside. Although the cocktail space is small, the views are wonderful.
