Year-round wedding magic: embracing every season
Set in the heart of the countryside, Zion Springs is more than just a wedding venue – it’s a living, breathing ecosystem. As you wander through the grounds, you’ll be greeted by various wildlife, such as deer, foxes, pileated woodpeckers, indigo buntings, and hawks, and might even catch a glimpse of blue herons by the creek.
This natural setting is enhanced by a rich variety of native plants, including chicory and butterfly milkweed, which bloom beautifully alongside our meticulously maintained gardens and woodlands.
Spring’s awakening: As the countryside awakens, the grounds at Zion Springs burst into life. A wide array of bulbs, including narcissus, tulips, daffodils, crocus, and hyacinths, emerge, complemented by blossoming flowering trees. Our ceremony site is a riot of color from early spring, creating a vibrant setting for spring weddings.
Summer’s flourish: The summer months see our orchard and woodlands in full bloom. Photographers delight in capturing images amongst wisteria, zinnias, echinacea, hostas, daylilies, dahlias, and veronica, as well as other cottage and colonial garden flowers that adorn the landscape, perfect for a sun-kissed summer celebration.
Fall’s rich tapestry: As autumn arrives, Zion Springs is draped in a palette of reds, oranges, and yellows. The continual color in our woodlands and gardens provides a warm and inviting atmosphere, ideal for a rustic autumn wedding.
Winter’s elegance: Winter transforms the venue into a serene and simplistic setting. The snow-covered grounds and bare trees, accented with crisp greenery and pops of color, create a tranquil and elegant backdrop, perfect for a winter wonderland wedding.
The changing seasons each bring their beauty, perfectly complemented by our dedicated groundskeeping team’s efforts. Their year-round work ensures every part of the venue is pristine, creating an inviting and relaxing atmosphere for you and your guests.
